Informative technical book for rebuilding engines. Gives the user a working knowledge of what's required and what is to be expected when attempting an engine rebuild. The reader should have some basic knowledge before reading this book as some information were not detailed (camshaft timing for instance).

This book provided excellent tips and guidelines a rebuilder would need to complete his / her engine buildup.

Too basic to be worth buying as a reference book

Great book

This book is a fantastic overview of rebuilding engines. Tons of pictures, step by step directions. It does not get into specifics on particular engines, so if that is what you want, this is not the book for you. I just wanted a 'what goes into rebuilding an engine' book. This is it.
