I have found this book to very useful. The Auto Manufactors do not provide clear explanation how to trouble shoot fundmental emissions. This book provides some troubleshooting steps you will not find anyplace else.

I also use Halderman Diagnosis And Troubleshooting Of Automotive Electrical, Electronic, And Computer Systems. This an excellent companion to the book under discussion.

Great Book

It is a fantastic book, was exactly what I was looking for. The book is very well set up from start to finish with many great chapters to cover the material your training for.
